• FACEIT CS2 Matchmaking Season 5 is the latest competitive season offering players a chance to climb the rankings, earn rewards, and get noticed by the FACEIT scouting team. It’s open to all players and designed to highlight the most consistent and skilled performers.

• Season Duration:
  Season 5 officially began on June 1, 2025, and will run until August 31, 2025. During this time, all ranked matchmaking games contribute to your seasonal progress and leaderboard standings.

• Eligibility & Format:
  All FACEIT CS2 players with verified accounts can participate. Your placement on the seasonal leaderboard is determined by your win rate, Elo progression, and performance in ranked matches throughout the season.

• Prize Pool:
  Season 5 features a total prize pool of $20,000, distributed among the top 100 players in Europe, North America, and other supported regions. Bonus prizes include FACEIT Points, skins, and exclusive badges.

• Qualification to FPL Challenger:
  The top performers from each region's leaderboard may earn a direct spot or qualification trial in the FPL Challenger division. This is the primary pathway into the FPL system, giving aspiring talents a shot at the big leagues.
